About LMVO
The Luxembourg Medicines Verification Organisation (LMVO) is a non-profit organisation representing the different stakeholders involved in securing the legal supply chain from falsified medicines in Luxembourg. The LMVO is responsible for implementing and managing the European Medicines Verification System in Luxembourg.

Governance
The different stakeholder organisations involved in securing the legal supply chain from falsified medicines in Belgium, are participating in the governance of the organisation.

LMVO is organised as a not for profit organisation in Luxembourg (“association sans but lucratif” / a.s.b.l.) and registered at Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés under number F11494.
LMVO works closely with Luxembourg Health Authorities in order to implement FMD.
LMVO is also working very closely with the Belgian Medicines Verification Organisation (BeMVO) in order to set up the common BMVS.
